fmWEB - how it works
Each application dialogue (a Web Page) mainly consists of a Form-, List-, & Online Help that are accessible through tabs.
For the system administrator, each dialogue further includes an additional Help Info Tab
The List View enables you to easily navigate through the database, modifiy existing data through a quick entry form or inline editing. A selection box further enhances the filtering of data to be searched, i.e. WO Status etc.
The Master/Detail View shows available links to Assets, Work Orders, Labor, Parts etc., whereever you are, thus enabling easily the creation of new entries from Asset History, existing Tasks, Projects and other related entries..
The Online Help is available throughout the whole application; thus enabling you to easily create annotations and comments by means of the integrated HTML editor (fckEditor).
Attachments of documents, photos, videos etc. are therefore greatly enhanced.
Graphical User Interface. A theme roller tool lets you modify the outlook of the application, based on a standard skin/theme sets. The page layout, forms and views are individually configurable, and the integrated HTML editor is also used to embed your company logo and help annotations.
Reporting. All available Reports are provided and accessed by MS Reporting Services.
Create and modify reports are done thru SQL Server Business Intelligence Studio or MS Report Builder.
Embedding Graphs such as Charts and Gauges are supported in a sophisticated manner.
For example, Past Due Work Orders can be displayed as a Bar Chart in a quite attractive way; shown on the Dashboard, this report may even be used as a monthly performance indicator referencing the service quality.

Search ToolsThe integrated Search Tools include both a
Sophisticated Data Explorer for tree-based views and drop-down fields, and a
Standard Search Toolbar for the fields contained in a Datasheet View.
