New International Release of MicroMain XM

MicroMain XM 2008 is out !!!

(2. June 2008) DORNACH, CH - MicroMain Europe, the Europe Headquarters of MicroMain Corporation, Austin/TX (USA) announces a new release of the International Version of MicroMain XM 7.1

The International version of MicroMain XM is now available in the following versions:

• XM 2008, the standard Access version
• XM 2008 SQL for Microsoft SQL Server (SQL Server 2000 & SQL Server 2008)
• XM 2008 ORA for Oracle Database

Additional features include:

• Absence Management
• improved performance for handling large-scale data.
• improved Menu functions
• improved interface for Data/Access level security
• international date formatting

Further add-ons now available:

• xmSmart: same as xmMobile, but works on any device, including Windows XP and Windows Vista computers
• primaVista: replaces MicroMain FM and MicroMain fmPOWERTOOLS and further includes basic translation tools/application scanner for own modifications.

Requirements:

• Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows Vista.
• Microsoft Office 2003 Professional Edition or
  - Microsoft Access 2003
  - Microsoft Access Runtime 2003
• Microsoft Office 2007 also works smoothly with MicroMain XM 2008.

Other Issues:

• XM 2008 needs Microsoft Framework 3.5, which is automatically detected and installed by the Installation Wizard.
• XM 2006 must be uninstalled first.
